Great care is taken when initially laying out the chassis, tressles are leveled & all corners verified for 90 degree angle before any major welding takes place.
Synthetic enamel paint finnish
The steel superstructure is well prepared, with any surface blemishes, grease, dirt etc. being removed before the first anticorrosion layer of paint is applied, once dry the synthetic enamel top coat is applied.
strong welding techniques
The latest MIG welding techniques are used to ensure maximum weld strength in equipment that has already proved it can last for decades.
conveyor assembly begins
When constructing a conveyor system, the main frame has to be engineered to a high degree of linear accuracy to ensure that the belt runs true when installed.
Hopper assembly & fabrication
Hopper panels are cut & formed accurately with CNC guillotine & press tooling resulting in a strong & robust hopper in 4mm cold rolled steel.
hydraulic control valves
During the installation of the hydraulic services on the gravel carts flow control valves are added to regulate the speed of the conveyor tilt, fold, door & motor mechanisms.
Hopper is mated to chassis
Dimensional accuracy is paramount in both hopper & chassis construction to ensure good alignment of each major module.
completed gravel cart unit
When finished the gravel cart is run up & tested for conveyor functions, branding & CE decals applied & finally serial number plate is riveted on.
